Required Qualifications and Education:

  • High School graduate
  • Minimum of one year related experience in computer support
  • Working knowledge of Macintosh or Windows operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully maintain positive interpersonal relationships
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully provide quality customer service
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully maintain satisfactory work performance and attendance records
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully work independently
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply complex information obtained from technical and procedural manuals
  • Flexibility in covering shifts. 

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • 2 years related experience in computer support. 

Responsibilities – Essential Functions: 

  • Run Argos reports
  • Automic operational tasks
    • Run shift schedules
    • Resolve Operational task problems or notify appropriate personnel
    • Verify thoroughness and accuracy of production jobs, prior to, during and after execution
  • Provide backup support for the Operations Supervisor on job scheduling, copyright infringement, and Outlook and Active Directory maintenance
  • Prevent unauthorized access into the Data Center
  • Barcodes Operational tasks
  • Completing Operational task forms
  • Distribute users’ production reports
  • IDOC Builder Operational tasks
  • Monitor and report on IPMonitor system
  • Lift boxes, push or pull carts
  • Maintain Operations paper inventory and supplies
  • Operate and monitor production printers
  • Operate Optical-Scanner (Faculty Evaluations and Test Scores)
  • Provide shift coverage
  • Recognize system and peripheral equipment malfunctions and execute proper corrective procedures
  • Reference technical manuals and guides as necessary
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Help Desk to provide support services
  • Support of Macintosh and Windows operating systems
  • Support of Microsoft Office
  • Provide Blackboard support
  • Provide Helpdesk call support
  • Provide lab/classroom and public printing support
  • Enter Helpdesk work orders
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary:  T3 Classification.  Minimum starting wage of $20.00
