Position: Network Systems Supervisor, Seymour and Esther Padnos College of Engineering and Computing (PCEC) Dean’s Office (50%) and High Performance Computing Resource Manager, Center for Scholarly and Creative Excellence (50%)
The applicant is required to have an earned bachelor’s degree an information technology related field with a minimum of three years of demonstrated information technology work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Preference will be given to candidates who have an earned Master’s degree in an information technology or a related field and experience in High Performance Computing as well as to candidates who have staff supervisory experience.
Responsibilities – Essential Functions
The successful candidate must be able to perform all aspects of network systems administration for Windows, Linux and MAC operating systems, including creating user accounts, installing software, and debugging RDMA and RAID systems. The position also requires dialoging with a wide variety of departments to assist with defining their High Performance Computing requirements, including developing technical specifications for hardware and software. Programing skills for scripting and web programming are required.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
