Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management, Business, or closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution by August 2019. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and a strong personal research stream for publication output or potential for research productivity, evidence of teaching and scholarship in the areas of Strategic Management, as well as evidence of professional engagement. Candidates must be committed to GVSU’s vision of inclusion and equity.
Excellent candidates in any field of Management will be considered. Preference will be given to those who have business experience, be willing to apply technology in curriculum offerings, and enhance the department's chosen areas of excellence. In addition, skills and experience teaching at the Masters and Executive level are preferred. Candidates must be committed to GVSU’s vision of inclusion and equity.
Typical teaching load is nine credit hours per semester. In addition, scholarship in quality journals and service activity is required. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in Strategic Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching other business management courses may also be required.
