Administrative Assistant - Ombuds & Presidential Initiatives Allendale
The Office of the President is seeking an individual to support the work of the Office of the Ombuds (Employee and Student) and presidential initiatives. The Administrative Assistant acts as a general assistant to Employee and Student Ombuds and Executive Associate for Presidential Initiatives, performing administrative support to the departments and serves as an ambassador for the offices. Complete privacy and confidentiality required. This position requires in person work and is primarily located in Allendale; however, there may be occasional work on the Pew or Health Campuses.
Assistant State Director (ASD) - Technology Strategy & Operations Grand Rapids
The Assistant State Director (ASD) - Technology Strategy & Operations is a key member of the SBDC’s leadership team who will work directly with our regional teams to determine the best technology solutions and system support to provide best-in-class consulting services. Key skills for this role include effective use of technology to enhance service delivery, coupled with excellent communication skills, change management, and strategy development.
Visiting Faculty in Music Theory Allendale
Grand Valley State University, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, visiting faculty position in the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance beginning August, 2023. The successful candidate will be conversant in contemporary music theory pedagogy while demonstrating the ability to effectively teach at the undergraduate level in the areas of written and aural music theory. The successful candidate will have begun developing a national reputation in their area of expertise through ongoing research and publication in the music theory field. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates from underrepresented groups, and from candidates who have interest and/or experience in working with diverse student and community populations.
Affiliate Faculty of Instruction - Statistics Allendale
The Statistics Department invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track Affiliate faculty position, starting in the 2023-2024 academic year. This may be renewed once for an additional academic year. Thereafter, such individuals may be appointed for three (3) consecutive academic years. Duties include teaching 4 or 5 sections of introductory statistics classes per semester; one may be required to teach more than one prep per semester and/or teach a higher-level statistics course. Employment is to begin in August of 2023.
