Internal to GVSU: Library Specialist IV (Steelcase Library Coordinator) - University Libraries Grand Rapids
As a member of the Operations and User Services Department, the Library Specialist IV functions as a department coordinator for the Steelcase Library, working collaboratively to support library services and operations. This position is based in downtown Grand Rapids at the Steelcase Library, Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, and is expected to work occasionally at other locations.  Responsibilities include working in our user-centered service desk environment, co-leading onboarding and training efforts, supporting virtual services, opening the library, and executing emergency and evacuation procedures. This position also supports cataloging of materials and serves as a point person for specified systems supporting the department, working closely with the Systems and Discovery team in an approximately .2 FTE role.  Additional responsibilities may expand as we identify a match of individual strengths to advance department needs.
Office Coordinator - TRIO Student Support Services & TRIO McNair Allendale
Coordinates and provides support for both the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and TRIO McNair Scholars Program. Program Coordinator, TRIO Upward Bound Detroit Detroit
This position is with GVSU TRIO Upward Bound-Detroit, a federally funded TRIO program that focuses on college preparation for Detroit target high school students. This position is involved in all aspects of the program including: program design and implementation, strategic planning and assessment, participant recruitment and support, after school and summer staff supervision, budget management assistance, grant preparation assistance, and federal reporting requirements. This role will design, implement, supervise, and monitor program activities and outcomes in accordance with federal regulations and program objectives. The project offices are located at GVSU’s Detroit Center and the program will serve students at three Detroit target high schools.
