The Department of Mathematics seeks an Academic Department Coordinator to join our collegial staff and to contribute to our positive office environment and departmental mission with a start date in early January 2022. The Academic Department Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and the quality of the administrative work for the department; they have a variety of responsibilities in which discretion and judgment concerning procedures to use or policies to follow is required. The successful candidate will work closely with the Unit Head and Assistant Chairs to manage departmental operations. Mental Health Communications and Outreach Specialist - University Counseling Center (Student Services) Allendale
Summary: The University Counseling Center (UCC) and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (AOD) are seeking a Mental Health Outreach Specialist to assist in student mental health prevention efforts and to support larger institutional wellness goals. The Michigan Small Business Development Center’s (SBDC) vision is to make Michigan the best place to start and grow a business. The SBDC headquarters are hosted by Grand Valley State University. The SBDC is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Small Business Administration (SBA), multiple grant agreements with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), ten regional offices throughout the state, private sector sponsors, and program income from workshops and other events. The SBDC’s budget varies between $9M-$14M annually. The Director, SBDC Finance & Grants is responsible for the financial operations of the SBDC and strategic input as a member of the Executive Team. AWRI Fleet Captain - Annis Water Resources Institute Muskegon
The AWRI Fleet Captain oversees the effective, safe, and efficient maintenance and operation of all vessels and vehicles operated by AWRI. Fleet Captain also coordinates the efforts of AWRI captains, deckhands, engineers, and electricians to ensure that all vessel activities are conducted in a safe and cost-effective manner. Fleet Captain will operate AWRI vessels as required, act as a liaison between AWRI and various other federal agencies including but not limited to USCG and USACOE.
