The University Counseling Center’s psychiatric nurse practitioner works within a collaborative interdisciplinary mental health team to provide psychiatric services to students referred by the Center’s mental health treatment providers. Program Manager - Johnson Center for Philanthropy Grand Rapids
The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy (Johnson Center) seeks a Program Manager to join the Learning Services team, which provides nationally-recognized professional education, training, and tools for philanthropic learning. The Program Manager will take primary responsibility for developing and managing the content and curricula for LearnPhilanthropy Academy and The Grantmaking School, and also work closely with the Learning Services team on related projects. Affiliate Faculty of Instruction - Writing (College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) Allendale
Affiliate Faculty of Writing. The Department of Writing at Grand Valley State University seeks to fill a full-time (9-month), non-tenure track Affiliate Faculty position beginning August 6, 2020. No scholarship expectations or service obligations. An M.A., M.S. or M.F.A. in English, Rhetoric/Composition, or Writing is required by time of employment. Candidates need to have expertise and experience in teaching college composition. Candidates must also have experience teaching writing in a computer lab. Preferred qualifications include graduate coursework in rhetoric and composition, or its professional equivalent. The typical full-time (9-month) teaching load is 12-credit hours per semester, drawn from GVSU's general education composition courses. The position is not tenure-track. Individuals will be appointed for one academic year on a full-time basis. This may be renewed once for an additional academic year. Thereafter, such individuals may be appointed for three (3) consecutive academic years. The ideal candidates will focus their careers on teaching general education writing courses and on continuously developing their professional expertise as writing teachers.
