The School of Communications at Grand Valley State University is seeking an effective teacher and speech coach to join the faculty of the Communication Studies major. This is a Visiting Assistant Professor position (non-tenure track) to begin Fall 2021. Visiting Faculty - Physics - (College Liberal Arts and Sciences) Allendale
The Physics department is looking to hire an individual who will be the instructor of record for 12 contact hours per week of introductory physics courses comprised of lectures, discussion sections, and labs. Teaching during spring or summer terms is not required, but such a teaching assignment may be possible, for additional compensation. The appointment is for one full year but may be renewed annually for an additional two years. The salary is competitive with regional peer institutions.

The teaching assignment for the 2021-22 academic year will be four courses per semester and may include: WGS 200 Introduction to Gender Studies; WGS 224 Introduction to LGBTQ Studies; WGS 255 Gender and Popular Culture; and WGS 491 Contemporary Theory and Practicum. The School of Engineering within Grand Valley State University's Seymour and Esther Padnos College of Engineering and Computing invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing - Psych Mental Health (Kirkhof College of Nursing) Grand Rapids
Psych/Mental Health Tenure-track faculty position available. Experience teaching in higher education also desirable. Must have earned doctorate in nursing or related discipline; if the earned doctorate is not in nursing, the master’s degree must be in nursing. If the doctorate was earned via a BSN to doctorate, the doctorate must be in nursing (DNP or PhD), and the requirement for a master’s degree is waived.
