Summary: Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business, invites applications for a Project Manager who is responsible for the implementation, execution, and completion of special projects or programs.

Primary Duties:

  1. Determine and define project scope and objectives;
  2. Create, monitor, and maintain the schedule for project implementation and scale;
  3. Align and manage internal and external resources/vendors in an effective manner;
  4. Manage the budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements;
  5. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders;
  6. Monitor progress to ensure timely execution and completion of specified project deliverables;
  7. Provide project updates on a consistent basis at all stages of the project management lifecycle;
  8. Measure performance and provide recommendations for improvement; and
  9. Perform other duties as required/assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree
  • 2- years of relevant project management experience with increasing responsibility;
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and implementation skills to achieve specified goals and objectives;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Asana, Team Dynamics, or related software

Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment.  Some travel may be required.
