Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Looking for individuals with a strong interest in working with a diverse body of undergraduate students who have expertise in one or more of the following areas: global, regional, or local sustainability initiatives; wicked problems; interdisciplinary environmental program development; intersections of environmental and human systems; water, food systems, energy, and/or cultural elements of sustainability, environmental assessment, social impact assessment, women and/or gender studies, LGBTQ studies, Latin American/LatinX and/or ChicanX studies, African and African American studies, East Asian/Asian American studies, Native American studies, social scientific approaches to U.S. diversity, liberal studies, digital literacies, data visualization, human rights studies, among others.
  • Must have completed at least 18 credits of graduate level training in a related area to be taught and/or have significant tested professional experience in the subject area.  
  • Many courses require in-person instruction on the Allendale Campus.
  • Experience and/or interest in online and hybrid teaching is also welcomed. 

Preferred Qualifications & Education

  • Master’s Degree or other, applicable advanced degree strongly preferred. 

Salary: Commensurate with experience and training.
