Finance Manager, MI-SBDC Grand Rapids
The Michigan Small Business Development Center (MI-SBDC) is hiring a Finance Manger to work at its Lead Center office. The Finance Manager will report to the State Director and is responsible for the financial operations of the MI-SBDC, including the MI-SBDC administrative office, the grants management function, and the financial operations of the eleven MI-SBDC Regional Centers. Primary responsibilities include: Manage systems/procedures which are mutually acceptable to GVSU and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for efficiently processing MI-SBDC transactions through university, economic development and community college offices that host the eleven Regional Centers; audit responsibilities, including federal and university audits of the Lead Center and audits of the eleven Regional Centers; manage the relationships with Office of Small Business Development Centers (OSBDC) in Washington, D.C. related to financial management; create and manage reporting needs of the Lead Center and eleven regional offices; responsible for providing financial analysis and highlights to SBDC leadership; perform and/or coordinate all financial and grants management functions in conformance with established plans, priorities and deadlines; manage all internal and external audit activities; make onsite visits to eleven centers reviewing financial records. ANEW Grant Project Manager - Kirkhof College of Nursing Grand Rapids
The ANEW Grant Project Manager will be responsible for the management of all activities of a HRSA funded project to strengthen the delivery of and access to integrated mental and primary health care services to rural/underserved community (R/UC) populations in Michigan, through traineeship support of adult-gerontology and pediatric primary care NP students. This individual will work with the Project Director (PD), Project Coordinator (PC) KCON staff, Organizational Project Managers (OPM), preceptors, faculty, and the students to accomplish goals, objectives, tasks, and activities for the grant as assigned in order to facilitate the successful implementation of this project.

Program Coordinator - MI-SBDC West Michigan Region Grand Rapids
The Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Grand Valley State University is seeking a full time Program Coordinator for its West Michigan Regional Team to help small businesses launch, grow, transition and innovate. Primary responsibilities include: manage intake and triage process for client services, provide direct business consultation for start-up and emerging companies, oversee development and delivery of SBDC training programs, support business consultants efforts in building and serving client portfolios, manage CRM system for client attribution, establish and maintain knowledge of business support services, promote the services of the SBDC, and support statewide initiatives. Required qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and demonstrated proficiency with standard software programs.
