The Michigan Small Business Development Center’s (SBDC) vision is to make Michigan the best place to start and grow a business. We pursue this vision by providing entrepreneurs and growing businesses with expert advice, technology commercialization, training, export assistance and market research. The SBDC headquarters are hosted by Grand Valley State University. The SBDC is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Small Business Administration (SBA), multiple grant agreements with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), ten regional offices throughout the state, private sector sponsors, and program income from workshops and other events.
