Standardized Patient Program Assistant Coordinator - Vice Provost for Health Grand Rapids
Grand Valley State University’s Office of the Vice Provost for Health invites applications for an Administrative Professional position. Bachelor’s Degree required, must be a Registered Nurse. A Master’s Degree in educational technology, education, or a health-related discipline is preferred. Must have experience with program planning, developing, implementing, and evaluation. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the capacity to learn new software systems. Flexibility in schedule is required due to Standardized Patient event times. The Standardized Patient Program Assistant Coordinator is responsible for the organization, planning, recruitment, and hiring of pediatric standardized patients in accordance and compliance with all State laws and regulations, in addition to, assisting the Standardized Patient Program Coordinator in operational aspects of the program as requested. Other duties as assigned.
Custodian - Facilities Services Allendale
The custodian position will clean/sanitize restrooms, sweep, mop vacuum, empty trash, lock/unlock buildings, room set-ups and other assigned duties.
Temporary Dispatcher/ Communication Specialist - Department of Public Safety Allendale
This position performs a variety of communication and operational duties in support of the Grand Valley Police Department and Pew Campus Security. The dispatcher will monitor all incoming phone lines as well as audio and video surveillance equipment.
Visiting Faculty - W K Kellogg (College of Education) Grand Rapids
The College of Education at Grand Valley State University is seeking a Visiting Faculty member to support projects within the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Partnership grant in Battle Creek, MI. This partnership is a collaborative relationship between GVSU and Battle Creek Public Schools (BCPS) devoted to building a culturally diverse and academically rigorous educational environment In Battle Creek. Essential functions of this position include mentoring Early Career Teachers and supervising GVSU Student Teachers, but other duties can include teaching dual-enrollment courses in BCPS as well as university courses in social foundations of education. The position will be based primarily out of Battle Creek Michigan, but the candidate must be able to travel to GVSU’s Grand Rapids campus as needed.
Adjunct Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Kirkhoff College of Nursing) Grand Rapids
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides care to patients of the GVSU Family Health Center (FHC). This position is part of a $1.5 million, 3-year grant funded through HRSA. Through this grant, an integrated behavioral health care team will integrate into the existing, multi-disciplinary care team of nurse-led primary health providers to deliver care to the underserved, vulnerable populations targeted by this proposal.
Adjunct NEPQR - Healing the Heartside Project Manager (Kirkhoff College of Nursing) Grand Rapids
The NEPQR Grant Project Manager will be responsible for the management of all activities of a HRSA funded project to increase the access to and quality of behavioral health services through team-based care models in interprofessional, nurse-led primary care teams for underserved populations. The grant will increase the training of the current and future nursing workforce, and strengthen their ability to provide integrated behavioral health care services in primary care settings through academic-practice partnerships. The Project Manager will work with the Project Director (PD), GVSU Family Health Center and Kirkhof College of Nursing staff, a Licensed Behavioral Health Provider (LMSW), a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), a Community Health Worker (CHW), faculty, and students to accomplish goals, objectives, tasks, and activities for the grant as assigned in order to facilitate the successful implementation of this project.
Adjunct Instructor - School of Communications (College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) Allendale
The School of Communications at Grand Valley State University is seeking an advertising and public relations professional to teach part-time as an adjunct instructor in the Advertising and Public Relations major. The position will begin late August 2020. The Advertising and Public Relations faculty place a premium on the abilities and skills of the applicant to integrate theory and practice in the successful teaching of courses.
Assistant/Associate Professor - Psych Mental Health (Kirkhof College of Nursing) Grand Rapids
Psych/Mental Health Tenure-track faculty position available. Experience teaching in higher education also desirable. Must have earned doctorate in nursing or related discipline; if the earned doctorate is not in nursing, the master’s degree must be in nursing. If the doctorate was earned via a BSN to doctorate, the doctorate must be in nursing (DNP or PhD), and the requirement for a master’s degree is waived. How to Apply: Apply online at jobs.gvsu.edu. Temporary Part-time Massage Practitioner - Recreation and Wellness Allendale
Services provided include chair massage, full body massage, maintain client paperwork and forms. Must have completed all coursework to become a massage practitioner, including all practical hours, and provide proof of completion of both national exam and license. Starting wage is based on experience and skills. Massage Practitioner position may work an average of 15 hours a week and have additional opportunities to work events. This is a part-time non-benefited position.
